We really do have a great community here and we&#x27;re very thankful to have such a terrific group of people supporting WebGUI and our company. Attendees have a great week of presentations to look forward to, and Madison has plenty to offer in the evenings for those looking for a little entertainment. From learning about specific assets to writing utility scripts, this conference covers it all. In the evenings, attendees can gather to talk about how they&#x27;re using WebGUI and to participate in a hack-a-thon to further hone their coding skills. The conference is located right in the heart of downtown Madison, providing countless dining and entertainment options within walking distance of the conference hotel. Attendees should be sure to look through the WUC Wiki to learn more about BOF sessions and Madison attractions to take full advantage of everything this WUC has to offer. While the conference itself is sold out, there are still some WebGUI Workshop seats available. The workshops are held on Oct. 15-16, and are designed to provide small classroom training for those who are new to WebGUI. One seat remains in the Content Managers and Design workshop, and there are about half a dozen seats left in the Developers workshop. Details about the WebGUI Workshops can be found on the WUC website. Plain Black welcomes this year&#x27;s attendees to Madison, WI and looks forward to a great WUC! <title>BOF&#x27;s at the WUC</title>
<link>http://www.plainblack.com/news/news/bofs-at-the-wuc</link>
<description>Birds of a Feather (BOF) find many reasons to come together each year at the WUC, and we&#x27;d like to draw attendees&#x27; attention to two BOF events currently planned. The first scheduled BOF session is entitled How do You Use WebGUI. This is a get together to share how your specific organization puts WebGUI to work, allowing you to learn more about others and gain new ideas in the process. This will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 7:00pm in the Second Presentation Room of the Concourse. The second BOF is a Hackathon scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 18 at 7:00pm in the Second Presentation Room of the Concourse Hotel. This is an opportunity to come together and learn more about coding for WebGUI, collaborate on ideas for the WebGUI core, or work on some of your own projects. If you&#x27;re interested in taking part in these activities, visit their respective pages in the WUC Wiki and add your name to the list. This is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of the networking and socializing so many enjoy at the WUC. There&#x27;s still room to add two new BOF sessions, so if you&#x27;d like to schedule a BOF session yourself, feel free to add it. Just add a new article to the wiki and include a title, description, time and place for the BOF. Then, add that title to the main BOF page. While you&#x27;re at it, look over some of the other information that has been gathered for your convenience in the WUC Wiki. Add your name to Who Are You page so others can see who is attending this year, and then look over the restaurant, entertainment and area attraction pages to help plan your free time. We look forward to seeing you next month!</description>

<description>Fall is upon us, and next month the annual WebGUI Users Conference will be hosted in Madison, WI from October 17-19. With only a few weeks left to register, just 10 seats remain. If you haven&#x27;t registered yet, do so now, because these spots will fill up fast and you don&#x27;t want to be left out! The WebGUI Users Conference is an annual event that brings together Plain Black staff and field experts from around the globe to present on all things WebGUI. The three day conference consists of two presentation tracks, technical and non-technical. In addition, attendees work side by side with other WebGUI users from organizations around the world. Nowhere else is this concentration of WebGUI knowledge found in one place at one time. In addition, Plain Black is offering a two day small classroom training experience, WebGUI Workshops, specifically geared towards helping newcomers become better acquainted with WebGUI before the conference. Again, both a technical and non-technical class is available. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with a member of the Plain Black staff before diving into the presentations offered at the users conference.
