In WebGUI usability has two faces: the usability of WebGUI itself and the quality of the website the designer implements. In this presentation Arjan will draw a line on usability as both a quality model, where accessibility is the base and eye-candy is at the top, and an organizational model for more efficient development of high quality websites for both programmers and designers.

Presented by Arjan Widlak. Arjan Widlak is CEO of United Knowledge. United Knowledge is an Internet company for the public sector. It's focus is on providing online access to the public sector, in terms of information as well as public participation and innovation of the public process. Arjan has two other activities. He develops simulation games on complex decision making on subjects like standardization, infrastructural decisions and sticky problems in policing. In cooperation with four other companies he develops integral scenario's for the future of municipalities in the Netherlands.
